I got this recipe from 楊桃電子報 and I probably won't do it again. The cookies turned out to be nice and much better than I thought.  However, the conversion of the measurement really killed me.... I didn't think being a financial analyst will have trouble converting measurement for cooking.

The whole thing comes from the cookie cutter I bought for Angie last year.  For all this time, we haven't done anything with these cookie cutters.  I don't remember how many times Angie asked me if she could open the box and do something with them.  I said, "No."

This afternnon, she and Andrew brought the box with 101 cookie cutters out again.  I look at them and said, "yes."  They were sooooooo excited and started to take out the cutters to play.  The cutters were all over the place and I realized what I got myself into.

I started to look for recipes for cookie dough and found this......,

The recipe looks easy, right?  Wrong.... I was trying to convert the ingreident from grams to oz or to tablespon, or to teaspoon and of course to cups.  I almost went crazy about it.  Angie and Andrew helped out to knead the dough.  They had fun to choose what cookie cutter they want to use (cause I limited to 3 cutters each).  You can imagine how difficult it was to choose 3 cutters out of 101 cute shapes.

It didn't take long to bake these cookies.  They smell very buttery... don't know if that's how the recipe goes or I did miss-calculate the conversion at least for the butter part.  Well, kids enjoyed them and even Take was eating it without saying anything negative.  I guess we will try a different activity next weekend!!
