It’s the week Angie has nowhere to go. Angie’s school ended last week and her summer camp is not starting until next week. I could’ve send her to the babysitter and I know her little brothers will love to have her around. But I am selfish. I want to spend sometime with her alone! The boys can play with her at sitter’s place on Monday and Wednesday and I will have Angie for the rest of the week!!
Today is Tuesday. We went to Disneyland right after dropping Andrew to his tiny tot program and Austin to the sitter’s place. The parking was horrible partly because of the crowd and partly because of the construction they are having. I didn’t know there were so many people coming to Disneyland on this simple weekday!! My heart sunk badly….but Angie seemed not be bothered by waves of people walking towards Disneyland. She is very excited that we can finally go into the kingdom (we have been just walking around downtown Disney before we bought the annual passport as our trips to Disneyland…..).
The parking lot was full beforew we can get in and we had to park in the parking structure nearby. When we finally got in to the amusement park, my princess is now hungry….. umm, how come I not surprised at all…… she is Take’s best daughter after all!! J
Anyhow, depite the delay, we took many rides throughout the day: Mad Tea Party, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, It’s a small world, King Authur Carrousel, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Storybook Land Canal Boats. We also waited for the parade on Main Street. Angie was shy last time to participate in the parade, but she really jumped in and danced with the parade dancers.
Finally, we had to go to pick up her little brothers. She promised me that she would not brag about her “field trip” in Disneyland to her poor little brothers since they didn’t get to go with us today. So, our last ride was the railroad to go around and experience the happiest place once more. As Angie going through the park, she started to make her list to include the rides we missed today….. I guess I will have to take her back again!!
