I finally finished the gift for mm.  She is turning 40 this year and I wanted to make something different than just sending her a birthday card. 

The gift I made is a neck tie or neck wrap.  It’s not as long as a scarf, but just enough to wrap her neck for a little cute look.  Since she gets cold very easily in the winter time and she always wear the heavy high neck sweater, I thought this might be a useful gift for her. 

I also bought some beads so I can make a rosebud pin for her.  Unfortunately, the beads I bought are too small and the wire is too thick.  I had to abandon my plan and made this bracelet instead.  They are made of crystal beads I bought a while back.  The color doesn’t match the neck tie at all, but I think she should be okay with that……
